I’m looking back on Anna’s bridal session at Butterfield Mansion with so much love and gratitude towards my photography business and all the beauty it brings in front of my camera and into my life! 🥹 My Southern Belle heart died and went to heaven when I saw the outcome of this unforgettable session. 👰🏼‍♀️🩵🌿

Anna’s mom knew she wanted a grand staircase for her bridal portraits, and the first place that popped into my mind was Butterfield Mansion. 😍 It’s tucked away in Brookhaven’s downtown, but it’s so worth the drive from Hattiesburg!

When I moved back home to Hattiesburg, Mississippi, in early 2021, I knew Butterfield Mansion was at the top of my bucket list of places to photograph! Fast forward a few months later, and I had the opportunity to participate in a styled shoot hosted there!! It was a great kickstart to my wedding portfolio, all while making the sweetest vendor friends. 😇 This antebellum home is everything I dream of, and I knew the first time I saw it it was something special. 😉🤩

Fast forward a few years later, and I have captured numerous bridal sessions here! It’s the perfect spot for bridals for so many reasons. For starters, the gracious venue owner allows you to have your own private room/bathroom so you can get into your dress easily and not worry about where you are going to change! 🙌🏻 The other really amazing thing is the variety of spots at the venue. Lots of lovely white spaces and a beautiful front porch, too! It truly is the best of both worlds.
