Alec and Kylie’s spring engagement photos have me convinced of 2 things. Firstly, I’m pretty sure they are supermodels. Secondly, I have the best.job.in.the.world.

Technically the first day of spring isn’t until Monday, March 20, but living in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, spring came early! Pollen is EVERYWHERE, given that the flowers are blooming and humid (and hot) weather is back. Spring is my favorite season to photograph! You can’t beat the soft green grass starting to come alive again and the sunshine beaming just a little brighter.

These two high school sweethearts’ engagement session was a dream come true! Kylie’s outfit choices were certainly on point, and she rocked them. Not to mention, her diamond engagement ring stole the show (Alec picked it out by himself, and he did SO GOOD)!! We started off their session in downtown Hattiesburg. It’s one of my favorite places to take photos because there’s so much variety! We ended at an exclusive location I have access to with the most STUNNING oak tree. I’m in love with the outcome!!!

After meeting this couple and becoming instant friends, I am even more excited to capture their wedding day in September at The Barn at Bridlewood! If their engagement session is any indication of how their wedding will be, we are indeed in for a treat! Eeek!!
