Downtown Hattiesburg Session | Zay and Lizzie Engagements
Zay and Lizzie’s downtown Hattiesburg sunset engagement session fell during an excessive heat warning (hello, South Mississippi 🫠), and they sure brought the HEAT. 😍🔥 They were such troopers through it all, resulting in photos like THESE. I’m in love with the outcome.

Zay and Lizzie radiate with a great joy that doesn’t go unnoticed! The first time I met them, I knew I was meant to be their photographer.
Their proposal story is full of romance and laughs, so I had to share it with you! Read below.
“Zay works year-round at Twin Lakes Camp and Conference Center. I had been begging him to ride horses at camp for a while, and he finally asked if I would want to ride. Of course, I said yes! That afternoon, we both got on horses and tried to make our way down to the horse trail, but my horse was not having it, and we had to take her back. I got on Zay’s horse, and he walked the whole way down. When we finally got to the trail, he bent down by a tree, and I was so confused because he was pretty far from me. I later found out he accidentally dropped the ring and bent down to pick it up, but I had no clue. 🤣 He walked up beside me while I was on the horse, knelt with the ring, and popped the question!! 💍”
Zay’s determination paid off! 👏🏻😂
