I just got home from Dawson and Olivia’s undeniably beautiful wedding day (I didn’t have a far drive ;)) and ran straight to my laptop to share her beautiful bridals captured at The Bay Bed & Breakfast. It was the perfect spot for Olivia’s bridal session because it’s where she spent the morning of her wedding day getting ready, and it captured her classy personality perfectly!

The Bay Bed & Breakfast in Downtown Hattiesburg

The Bay Bed & Breakfast is a historic home built in 1903 in the heart of downtown Hattiesburg. It was originally owned by the Polk and Jones families but went untouched for over a century. Thankfully, in 2014, Joyce Hicks and Adrienne Hicks Garanich (owners of Blooms Company) took a chance and revitalized this beautiful home. I certainly am happy they took that chance!!!

Old houses, antiques, and photographers are the way to my heart, so you can only imagine the excitement I had when Olivia chose this location for her bridals!

Growing Up Together

If you didn’t know, Olivia is my cousin and also my sweet friend! We grew up across the street, leading to many sleepovers and playdates as little girls. Some of my favorite memories I have of us are swimming during summer break, riding to school together every day, and annual Halloween parties completed with spooky hay rides! Olivia is the kindest soul you will ever meet. Ask around. I promise everyone will agree.

When she asked me to be her and Dawson’s wedding photographer, I had never felt more grateful. Using my gift to serve my family is such an honor!
